Sichuan Luzhou Gulin Town, located in China’s Sichuan Province, is one of the country’s most renowned baijiu (Chinese liquor) production regions and is regarded as the birthplace of multiple famous baijiu brands. Guoren Distillery’s well-known core label, “Chinese People,” originated here. Drawing on a thousand-year legacy of Huisha-style sauce-aroma brewing techniques, “Chinese People” baijiu has gained widespread attention for its excellent quality and distinctive flavor.
Not only does the brand boast nearly a thousand tons of century-old liquor in reserve, but it also brings together several master distillers from prestigious distilleries in Guizhou Maotai Town and Sichuan Luzhou, showcasing outstanding brewing craftsmanship. In 2017, “Chinese People” baijiu successfully entered the French market, becoming one of the internationally recognized representatives of Chinese baijiu.
Dedicated to crafting world-class spirits, “Chinese People” baijiu aims to carry forward the heritage of Chinese baijiu by preserving the thousand-year brewing tradition from the Chishui River’s “River of Fine Liquor” valley. Its production process strictly follows the traditional Kunsha method of “one year to produce baijiu, nine rounds of steaming, eight rounds of fermentation, and seven rounds of liquor extraction,” establishing it as a rising star in China’s baijiu industry.
